About the Workshop:
Do you have a child in middle school or high school who will need long-term services and support in the community, and for whom traditional paths to college and career may not seem like the best fit? If so, we have a weekend training for you.
This training will help families of students with visual and multiple disabilities and complex access needs, including those who are deafblind.
Together, we will:
• Explore new ideas for planning life after high school.
• Learn how to start a person-centered transition plan.
• Share resources and experiences with other families.
This event will be hands-on and interactive. Families will imagine what a successful adult life could look like for their child and learn how to find and ask for the tools and resources needed to get there.
Registration: $50.00 per Person
Who Can Attend? Adult family members of students who will need life-long support. Professionals may also attend if they work with a participating student or are interested in transition planning. Space is limited. You may register now and pay later. Interpreting for languages other than English will be available for those registered on or before February 20, 2026.
