• Understanding file formats and conversion to editable text
• Developing a workflow that ensures accuracy of translation and formats
• Translation of literary, foreign language, and math worksheets for different grade levels
• The tactile graphic workflow and methods of production
• Drawing skills, element placement and document formatting
• Development of templates for commonly used diagrams
• How to use available resources for guidance

An introduction to music braille will include:
• pitches and time value of notes
• other “basic” symbols such as time signatures, measures, and ending a piece of music
• the octave symbols
• placement of accidentals
• headings, page numbers, and overall format

This training is designed for paraprofessionals and TVIs who are new to braille, tactile graphic, or music braille production. Participants must attend all four days.
