Literacy Considerations for Individuals with CVI is based on the work of Dr. Christine Roman-Lantzy and will focus on what needs to be considered
when planning literacy experiences and customizing existing literacy programs for individuals in Phase II and Phase III (Roman-Lantzy, 2018),
and are ready for instruction with print symbols. Judy Endicott, educator and grandparent of a 12 year old with CVI, shares her
experiences and some important research-based best practices for developing literacy.
