TSBVI Coffee Hour: The New Education of Students who are DeafBlind: An Administrator’s Story on Creating Systems Change
Hosted via Zoom on January 24, 2022

In this Coffee Hour, participants will explore one model for systems change that can be applied to creating a teacher of the deafblind position. Using the example of how the Region 4 Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (RDSPD) addressed programming issues for students who are deaf-blind, participants will explore a successful application of the model and how it can be used to address identified challenges. In addition, participants will learn how communication on the importance of the issue and a well-developed vision can drive the change process. Time will be provided for questions and answers.

Captioning will be provided, if you need anything else, please email Kaycee Bennett. Some logistics will be different with our Coffee Hours, as compared to the past, but you can expect the same commitment to providing information, discussion, and collaboration on topics important to students who are blind, visually impaired, or Deafblind.
