Meaningful evaluation of students with a visual impairment is an especially complicated task, and depends on the knowledge and ability of evaluation staff to administer tests and interpret results. The TSBVI publication Making Evaluation Meaningful is intended to provide guidance to evaluation personnel, TSVIs and families, and has been updated to include the newest information regarding testing and related instructional strategies.
Captioning will be provided, if you need anything else, please email Kaycee Bennett. Some logistics will be different with our Coffee Hours, as compared to the past, but you can expect the same commitment to providing information, discussion, and collaboration on topics important to students who are blind, visually impaired, or Deafblind.
