Utilizing Active Learning to Provide Instruction in the General Education Curriculum
Hosted via Zoom on April 13, 2023



Active Learning is a total approach to assessment, program development, and instruction for all areas of the general and expanded core curriculum areas for students who are blind, visually impaired or deafblind at the earliest developmental levels. This session will focus on how to use the FIELA curriculum and to develop Active Learning activities and instruction to address learning in all areas. This will include guidance on aligning goals and objectives in subjects like Math, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts and Fine Arts in the development of the IEP.

After the session, once you are marked attended, you will receive an email notification to take our online evaluation. A session code will be given to you at the end of the training. You will need to provide this code when taking the evaluation to obtain CEU credit.
