Welcome to the Braille and Tactile Graphic Boot Camp – your gateway to an exciting learning experience! Join us from January 2nd to 5th, 2024, for an immersive journey into the world of braille and tactile graphics. This four-day event is designed to equip you with the skills you need to create top-notch braille documents and tactile graphics for your students. And here's a special treat: We've added a session on braille writer maintenance and repair.
Throughout the camp, you'll have the chance to engage in small group activities and individual sessions. Expect to roll up your sleeves and leave with a collection of worksheets, tactile graphics, and valuable instruction manuals.

• Master the art of using Microsoft Word for crafting braille and tactile graphics.
• Uncover the secrets of file conversion, including different file types and extensions.
• Dive into Braille Document Production for various subjects – Literary, Foreign Language, Mathematics, and other Technical materials.
• Embark on the journey of Tactile Graphic Production, spanning both single-page and multi-page designs.
• Learn to create Templates for fundamental shapes, number lines, and Cartesian coordinate planes.
• Gain hands-on experience with essential hardware such as braille embossers, swell touch devices, and thermoform machines. Get familiar with the software that powers these tools.
