The words we use with individuals in the disability community do more than describe; they define, inspire, and sometimes limit. In this session, we’ll explore how language directly impacts self-perception and personal growth for people with visual impairments. Together, we’ll shift the conversation from independence to empowerment, moving away from measuring success by what someone can do alone, toward celebrating confidence, collaboration, and self-determination.
