Low Vision Conference: Students Taking Charge of Their Technology

Technology over the last decade has become a constant presence across our day. We rely on these tools to accomplish tasks in both our professional life and personal life. Keeping informed on the range of devices available and accessibility features has rapidly become a critical part of the VI professional role. Supporting our academic students with low vision to become confident and independent technology users is a priority in our digital age. This conference will provide interactive sessions with hands-on technology time and presentations that highlight topics such as problem solving with tech, preparing for transition with tech and hearing from successful tech users in the working world.
