Active Learning Case Studies: Student Centered Planning - March 2023
During the Active Learning Study Groups , teams will share case studies and discuss implementation of an Active Learning approach. Using student video and planning documents, participants will collaborate to design effective and meaningful instruction using active learning strategies. Each session will require one volunteer to share information and video of one of their students. Participants are encouraged to attend the TSBVI coffee hour from 3pm to 4pm on September 26th, 2022 to find out how Texas is supporting Active Learning!
Objectives:
• Become more familiar with the Active Learning approach to educating students.
• Increase knowledge of ways to approach Active Learning for a variety of students.
• Work with peers to brainstorm Active Learning strategies for case study students.
• Share information about best practices.
